We know that serving can often have a significant impact on our mental health, and mental health impacts in turn can have a massive impact on our spending, debt and financial struggles that we can see within our comm unity. Sadly, many people are often too embarrassed or ashamed to reach out for help, and all that leads to is making the same bad or misunderstood decision making to continue to make things difficult - or even worse.
At Veteran Financial Connect, we support our community with financial literacy support and empowerment, because we know that to see long term change and improvements for people, it isn't about us doing things for you, it is about empowering you to change and make the long term mental decision making changes.
Our financial literacy is designed to use the data you have, make recommendations on developing a money plan followed up by accountability sessions, we are here to help support people to become better engaged with their money, gain a better insight and understanding of how they are using and can use their money, manage and negotiate out of control debts and ultimately, become better informed in using and managing their money to create a more stable financial future.
If you have an accepted mental health condition, then we may be able to help you get this funded via a DVA Acute Support package.
We are focused on helping equip you with the basic building blocks you need - this is not an investing service - to support and empower you with financial literacy skills for your future financial stability.
